LL波段探空雷达测风质量控制方法研究

中文摘要:以美国NCEP的FNL再分析场和我国GRAPES的初估场为参考对北京探空站的雷达测风从平均偏差、标准偏差、概率密度分布、峰度系数、偏度系数、相关系数和均方根差等多个参数进行一致性评估。基于评估结果对雷达测风资料进行质量控制,并再次求解参数进一步评估质量控制效果。试验结果表明:L波段探空雷达的测风质量较高,测风的平均偏差基本在±1m/s内,其与参考标准的一致性随气压减小而减小;风东西分量和南北分量的一致性特征基本保持一致;四个季节中夏季数据一致性最高;基于FNL的评估结果优于GRAPES,即基于FNL的所有参数相对于GRAPES的参数更接近最优值。基于一致性评估后再次质控的测风资料一致性得到提升,数据保留了原有特征。该质量控制方法能够有效地消除季节性差异,且质控后两个背景场的评估结果差距缩小。

Research on quality control method of wind measurement of L-band sounding radar
Abstract:Respectively with the FNL data of the United States NCEP, and the Forecast Fields of China’s GRAPES as the background field, the consistency assessment of L -radar wind measurement from Beijing sounding station are obtained from average deviations, standard deviations, probability density distributions, kurtosis coefficients, skewness coefficients, Correlation coefficient and root mean square error. According to the assessment results, the data of the radar wind was controlled, and the parameters were again solved according to the results of the quality control. The quality control effect was observed and analyzed. The test results show that the radar wind measurement is of high quality, and the mean deviation of sounding wind is basically within ±1m/s, and its consistency with the reference standard decreases with the decrease of the air pressure. The consistency characteristics of the east-west and north-south components are basically the same. The data consistency of the summer season is highest in the four seasons. The evaluation result based on FNL is better than that of the GRAPES forecast field. All parameters based on FNL are closer to the optimal values relative to the parameters of GRAPES. The consistency of the wind measurement data after quality control based on the consistency evaluation result is improved, and the data retains its original characteristics. The quality control method can effectively eliminate seasonal differences, and the gap between the assessment results of the two background fields after quality control is narrowed.
