Combined with database managing technique and other computer languages,and on the basis of a vast amount of spatial and non-spatial data such as basic geographical,meteorological and hydrologic information,the GIS application system for storing,querying,analyzing,and displaying information makes it possible to monitor flood and to supply reference for government.
