An EOF interpolation scheme is established and continuous sequences of Northern Hemisphere land surface precipitation is obtained in the period of 1900~1996 with its reasonableness discussed.The dataset is helpful to research the large scale climate change,especially for the change of Northern Hemisphere annual/monthly precipitation in the past 100 years.At last,we made a primary analysis of the Northern Hemisphere land surface precipitation with the dataset.
